The READUCATE INSTRUCTOR COURSE covers 8 days of intensive training in our multi-dimensional language/communication/reading/life skills approach. The Readucate Trust (Section 18a) is an educational and literacy NGO. The ETDP-SETA accreditation number is ETDP-7926. Empowerdex have awarded it an AA BEE Rating.
The knowledge gained in the Readucate Course empowers a literate person to teach children and adults to:

  • Spell
  • Comprehend
  • Memorise efficiently
  • Study successfully
  • Develop self-confidence
  • Think courageously
  • Attain a Grade 7 level of English
  • The Licence to open your own Readucate Centre.


The Readucate Instructor Course Costs R5250,00 per participant and includes:

  • Basic English Course
  • Dictionary
  • The Diamond Way of Learning
  • Motivational material
  • Intensive tuition over 8 working days
  • A Rebecca Ostrowiak Reading Programme consisting of 10 manuals and 5 audio cassettes or CDs
  • A starter pack of 5 reading sets of Teach Any Child or Adult to Read. This will enable READUCATE Instructors to start instructing a group of 5 learners immediately after the completion of the Course.
  • Post-course monitoring to enhance teaching skills through distance education.
  • READUCATE Preliminary Certificate which is presented at the first Refresher Course following the initial 8 days, provided specific criteria have been met.
